Samsung is the latest company to jump on the touchscreen bandwagon this CES with their new media player. The P3 Widescreen Portable Media Player – "P3" to its friends – will feature a 3-inch touchscreen with haptic feedback. We're guessing "haptic feedback" translates to "the device vibrates when you touch the screen," although we're hoping they mean localized haptic feedback.

Other interesting and not-quite-as-interesting features include: 

  • "True" 16:9 widescreen video playback at 30fps.
  • Bluetooth connectivity that supports profiles for headphones, speakers, cell phones, and wireless transfers.
  • Built-in microphone and speakers.
  • DNSe 3.0 TRUE SOUND ENHANCEMENT TECHNOLOGY, which is fancy marketing speak for, "upconvert audio to a vague degree.
  • Uses flash memory and comes in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB sizes.
