Photo Album     (2.90)
The Touch's photo album is separated into photo albums. Clicking on an album will fill the screen with thumbnails in a 4-by-5.25 grid (the bottom thumbnail just barely peeks onto the screen. You can also select a picture to go to a cover flow-esque view.

You can set up a slide show, but you'll have to exit the photo album and open up the settings menu. Here, you can set the delay between each transition, set the transition effect, and toggle on repeat and shuffle funcitons. While there isn't any specific option to play back music during a slideshow, you can always leave the music application going in the background.

Podcast Support     (10.00)
The Touch, like other iPods, has great podcast support. First of all, podcasts have their own sort criteria, meaning you won't lose them amongst your other audio files. Further, iTunes is excellent at managing podcasts. You can opt to automatically download them or schedule a download time. The touch will play back video podcasts as well.

Podcasts are distinguished from your music. iTunes will also automatically download podcasts or you can schedule a time when it should download them. You can sync over your podcasts with iTunes. Advanced podcasts are supported as well. If you listen to a lot of podcasts, the Nano and iTunes offer some solid support.

Audio Recording / Voice Notes     (0.0)
The Touch doesn't have a microphone and therefore cannot record voice notes.
