Wifi / Bluetooth (5.00)
The iPod Touch has wifi connectivity that runs on the 802.11b/g frequencies. Connecting to a wifi network is easy. First of all, when you boot up an application that needs wifi, a prompt will appear that'll shortcut you to the wifi screen of the settings menu. From here, a list of available networks will appear that you can click on. Simply enter in the network key if necessary (both WPA and WMP encryption are supported) and you're all set. You can also opt to turn wifi off if you're running low on batteries.
Music Store Client (7.00)
The Touch has an iTunes store client. The main view in the client uses the main portion of the screen to list songs and their corresponding album art while the top and bottom have some navigation features, such as the lists of popular songs or the search feature. The "Top Tens" list at the bottom will display the top ten songs in several different genres. Since your iTunes account is linked to your credit card, purchasing songs is as easy as typing in your account login information.
Overall, the store client on the Touch is actually slightly more intuitive than the full version, if only because it doesn't throw quite as many options at you all at once.
Streaming Audio / Video (8.00)
The Touch does support streaming audio and video files. In fact, the iPod Touch comes with a YouTube client built in to the desktop. We had no problems streaming from other popular video sites either. Audio is no different. We had no problem streaming from online radio sites, or popular audio streaming services (Pandora, may you rest in peace).
One feature we would've liked to see, however, was an FM radio client.
