Photo Album (3.35)
The Nano's photo album is slightly bare. There are two views: thumbnail view and coverflow. Your pictures are simply listed in alphabetical order; you can't rearrange them. You can't zoom in on your pictures, rotate them, or edit them in any way. What you can do, however, is set up a slideshow. You can customize the slideshow a bit, by adding music, setting the entire thing to loop once it finishes, customizing the delay, and adding transitions. The Nano also supports video out, so you can view all your pictures on your TV (providing you have the right series of cables and connectors).
Podcast Support (10.00)
The Nano has great podcast support. Podcasts are distinguished from your music. iTunes will also automatically download podcasts or you can schedule a time when it should download them. You can sync over your podcasts with iTunes. Advanced podcasts are supported as well. If you listen to a lot of podcasts, the Nano and iTunes offer some solid support.

Audio Recording / Voice Notes (0.0)
By all means, feel free to talk to your Nano, but please be aware it doesn't have a microphone or audio recording software.
