ConclusionWhen we first looked at the Nano, we just assumed it was a flashy gadget that would favor stylish looks and a slim silhouette over functionality. It surprised us, however. While the Nano can't compete with smart phones, we couldn't help but be impressed with what it offers for its size. First of all, 8GB on this tiny frame is impressive. Also, the Nano retains all the software of the Classic, but has a scroll wheel that's more responsive and sensitive. Its screen is good as well, if small. By far, however, we were most impresesed by its audio quality. If you don't need a huge reservoir of music, but you want good quality, the Nano will meet your needs with style. It might not be great for video, and it might not have the most expansive storage space, but the Nano is a great music player for its price. |
